• Purnaa's Empowerment Fund
Many Purnaa staff come from marginalized or exploited backgrounds and were denied the things needed for a healthy life. The Empowerment Fund helps these employees access services beyond those traditionally offered by an employer, like scholarships for them to get GED schooling, driver's license classes, trauma counseling, etc. These extras offer them opportunities to get healthy and "caught up" in life. This fund is managed separately from Purnaa’s business accounting and is financed by gifts from individuals like you. Donations made in the USA are tax-deductible when given here, through Youth With A Mission, an organization we partner with to create good opportunities for Purnaa Staff.

• Shelter and Transition House
Money given to this project empowers women to leave the sex trade after being trafficked from Nepal to India. You make possible repatriation to Nepal and equip them with good medical care, trauma counseling, safe housing, life-skills and job-skills training, a weekly meeting with a guidance counselor, assistance finding a new job and transitioning to independent living.

• Where Needed Most
When you leave your gift undesignated, you make it possible for Purnaa to use the funds where needed most. This flexibility is so helpful as we face a changing world. It enables rapid and timely responses to help the people of Nepal in ways that are meaningful.
